Mike Cassidy

Helping companies win in the markets they serve is the focus and value of Mike’s work. In his 22 years as a successful CEO he has helped companies launch, grow and succeed. He has helped guide the development and achievement of hundreds of people and has led the development of world-class business processes. He has successfully defended against low-cost foreign rivals and has helped his clients do the same.

In 1991 Mike founded Package Right Corporation. He and the over 120 dedicated staff built PRC into the leading private label manufacturer of jigsaw puzzles and board games. Mike helped his customers position themselves to grow and thrive by helping them develop and execute the strategies that are right for them. Among these are some of the most recognized brand names on the market.

Since 2002 Package Right has acquired two competitors and has caused others to exit the market.

These achievements are the result of the strategy methodology Mike developed and refined during his years of business leadership. He synthesized his own experiences as a CEO, the best practices of well-known CEOs of leading companies and the published works of renowned academicians on strategy to formulate his winning methodology.

Mike sold Package Right to the two senior members of his talented management team in the fall of 2007. He has partnered with Kris Taylor, a leader in change management and organizational development to launch Fortress Strategy Group and bring these combined winning practices to others.

Mike is a Teacher of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship at Purdue University. He holds a degree in Management from Purdue and attended the Indiana University Kelley Graduate School of Business. Mike serves on the Board of Directors of The Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette and on the board of Package Right Corporation. He is a permanent member of his Parish Council.
